Come Mew, Celebi, Jirachi e i futuri Pokemon mitici (se devi ancora catturarli, dai un'occhiata ai link sopra), Victini è ottenibile solo attraverso ricerche speciali. Devi completare una serie di compiti per il Professor Willow - sei fasi con tre compiti ciascuno, in totale - che coinvolgono cose come la cattura di specifici tipi di Pokemon e la schiusa delle uova. Nota: se hai catturato Victini durante la missione Rocket Straight To Victory come parte del Go Fest 2020, riceverai 20 caramelle Victini invece di un secondo Victini.
